Sacred Union is a program for single men and women, as well as couples. Too often we segregate into men's retreats and women's retreats, rather than celebrate the dynamism that occurs when femininity and masculinity dance together.
Integrating the masculine and feminine polarities is one of the most enduring and difficult challenges we are tasked with.
This 2 day retreat is designed to help heal parental relationships and repair intergenerational wounds.
It aims to enhance partnerships as well as better prepare singles for future relationships.
Thirdly, it focuses on helping you as an individual find right relationship with your feminine and masculine energies.
It can be taken as a therapy retreat for an individual or couple, as well as a group experience for those who learn best from interacting with a range of people.

We explore the relationship we have with our parents, being one of the most impactful experiences on how we view the masculine and feminine.
We receive a fatal imprint in childhood, at the time of our greatest plasticity, of our passive impressionism, of our helplessness before suggestion... But to place all responsibilities upon them is wrong too. If they gave us handicaps, they also gave us their courage, their obstinacy, their sacrifices, their moments of strength. - Anaïs Nin
This program delves into how our culture and transgenerational patterns offer challenges and strengths when it comes to shucking off the lower self and accentuating the divine feminine and masculine.
It has always seemed to me that I had to answer questions which fate had posed to my forefathers, and which had not yet been answered, or as if I had to complete, or perhaps continue, things which previous ages had left unfinished. - Carl Jung
Our education, messages from society, peers and family, all tend to push us towards accepting quite narrow and often skewed ideas about what makes for healthy masculinity and femininity. Relationships are often the best vehicle for us to rethink these ideas and replace them with a higher ideal and greater self-responsibility.
We fall in love hoping we won't find in another what we know is in ourselves, all the cowardice, weakness, laziness, dishonesty, compromise & stupidity. - Alain de Botton
Integrating Masculine and Feminine Energies
Carl Jung described the animus as the unconscious masculine side of a woman, and the anima as the unconscious feminine side of a man. Each transcend the personal psyche and invites us to harmonise yin and yang, rather than project, idealise or look to be parentified or rescued. This retreat explores these concepts.
When you make the inner as the outer, and the upper as the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male shall not be male, and the female shall not be female: . . . then you will enter [the kingdom]. - Gospel of St Thomas

Sacred Masculine and Divine Feminine
Sessions will either involve individual or joint activities, counselling and treatments depending on what style of retreat program you decide on and which themes you wish to explore.
We will explore how the collective unconscious provides insight into relating with a partner and recent changes in elevating relationships and growing beyond maladjusted patterns and behaviours in the culture.
A focus of day one will be delving into the nature of masculinity, contrasting toxic and sacred masculinity as well as the journey we each face to integrate and balance our yang impulses.

“The repression of the feminine has led to a planet on the edge of collapse. The re-emergence is going to be a dance to behold.” ― Clare Dakin
The Divine Masculine is emerging. He holds sacred space for his truth. He breathes with integral strength of beauty and vulnerability. He lives from his heart.
A holistic retreat involving creative expression, life guidance, relationship exploration & a range of activities such as astrology/numerology readings, tarot, breathwork, transpersonal counselling & more.
When I arrived at your retreat space to work individually with you I had a draft of my story which to me seemed a little dull and probably incomplete. The question of bigger narratives revealed itself as we discussed my life events and also explored other tools focusing on the idea that we each have a life path we explore. You helped me to identify themes that I had barely thought of. With unsurpassed patience, you read through my draft word by word and along the way you shared insights that now “must” be included in the book - they are all so vital. Now as I look back over this week, I am in absolute awe of the themes you have highlighted. I have work to do - but I am excited and can’t wait to begin to incorporate them! Marcus, you have given me such a valuable gift - I feel uplifted because of the “truths” we discovered together and emboldened by your words as I embark on this next stage. I greatly appreciate all that you have given me and your great generosity of spirit, - Ros.
