Men’s Retreat Non Religious

Sacred Union is a program for single men and women, as well as couples. Too often we segregate into men's retreats and women's retreats, rather than celebrate the dynamism that occurs when femininity and masculinity dance together.

Integrating the masculine and feminine polarities is one of the most enduring and difficult challenges we are tasked with.

This 2 day retreat is designed to help healing parental relationships and repair intergenerational wounds.

It aims to enhance partnerships as well as better prepare singles for future relationships.

Thirdly, it focuses on helping you as an individual find right relationship with your feminine and masculine energies.

It can be taken as a therapy retreat for an individual or couple, as well as a group experience for those who learn best from interacting with a range of people.

Mother Wound / Father Wound

We explore the relationship we have with our parents, being one of the most impactful experiences on how we view the masculine and feminine.

We receive a fatal imprint in childhood, at the time of our greatest plasticity, of our passive impressionism, of our helplessness before suggestion... But to place all responsibilities upon them is wrong too. If they gave us handicaps, they also gave us their courage, their obstinacy, their sacrifices, their moments of strength. - Anaïs Nin

Intergenerational Patterns

This program delves into how our culture and transgenerational patterns offer challenges and strengths when it comes to shucking off the lower self and accentuating the divine feminine and masculine.

It has always seemed to me that I had to answer questions which fate had posed to my forefathers, and which had not yet been answered, or as if I had to complete, or perhaps continue, things which previous ages had left unfinished. - Carl Jung

Balanced Relationship

Our education, messages from society, peers and family, all tend to push us towards accepting quite narrow and often skewed ideas about what makes for healthy masculinity and femininity. Relationships are often the best vehicle for us to rethink these ideas and replace them with a higher ideal and greater self-responsibility.

We fall in love hoping we won't find in another what we know is in ourselves, all the cowardice, weakness, laziness, dishonesty, compromise & stupidity. - Alain de Botton

Integrating Masculine and Feminine Energies

Carl Jung described the animus as the unconscious masculine side of a woman, and the anima as the unconscious feminine side of a man. Each transcend the personal psyche and invites us to harmonise yin and yang, rather than project, idealise or look to be parentified or rescued. This retreat explores these concepts.

When you make the inner as the outer, and the upper as the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male shall not be male, and the female shall not be female: . . . then you will enter [the kingdom]. - Gospel of St Thomas
